Bonobo on Sale

Description
The Bonobo species is one of our closest (along with the Chimpanzee) relatives on Earth. Found in the Congo Basin rainforest in the Democratic Republic of Congo, its population size is generally unknown, due to lack of surveys across the range, but is considered endangered. The threats to this ape are manifold, with civil war, habitat destruction, agriculture, Palm Oil plantations and human viruses taking affect. However the greatest immediate threat is poaching, with the bushmeat trade occurring at an alarming rate.
The Critical Critters Suite is a collection of 24 signed, limited edition, de-bossed prints dedicated to critically endangered animals, insects, fish and birds.
Price shown is for an unframed print.
Paper size – 69 x 56 cm.
