Inspired by her trip to Greece in 1954 with friend and patron, Margaret Gardiner Hepworth created The Aegean Suite in 1971. The lithographs are infused with references to the Aegean landscape, allowing Hepworth to develop her fascination with links between geometric forms and sites associated with ancient Greek culture.
