Dugong Online now

Description
Mistaken as a mermaid by sailors, these beguiling creatures live in the coastal waters of at least 37 countries in the China seas and Indo-Pacific. Herbivore by nature, these mammals usually eat sea grass, but it has been observed in areas where the sea-grass is depleted the Dugong has adapted to eat invertebrates. Fishing nets, boating accidents, habitat destruction and loss of sea-grass are among the main threats to the Dugong, and it is predicted that this gentle sea-cow will decline in numbers and take it from Vulnerable to Endangered soon.
The Critical Critters Suite is a collection of 24 signed, limited edition, de-bossed prints dedicated to critically endangered animals, insects, fish and birds.
Price shown is for an unframed print.
